Criminal defense lawyer for foreigners
When a foreigner faces a criminal case in Georgia, language and unfamiliar procedure are the first obstacles. We defend you in English or Russian — from the moment of arrest to trial.
If you are detained, you have the right to a lawyer, to a free interpreter and to have your country's consulate informed. Do not sign documents you don't understand — ask for your lawyer first.
We act at every stage: questioning, preventive measures (including bail or detention), plea agreements, trial and appeal. We also keep family members abroad informed.
What we handle
- Defense from the moment of arrest
- Interpreter and contact with your consulate
- Challenging bail or detention
- Plea agreements
- Defense at trial and on appeal
- Keeping your family abroad informed
Questions & answers
I'm a foreigner and was detained in Georgia. What are my rights?
You have the right to remain silent, to a lawyer before any questioning, to a free interpreter and to have your consulate informed. Ask for a lawyer immediately and don't sign anything you don't understand.
Will my consulate be informed?
Yes, if you ask. A detained foreigner has the right to request that the consulate of their country be informed of the detention.
Can my family hire a lawyer from abroad?
Yes. A family member can contact us by phone or WhatsApp; we sign the engagement remotely and step into the case immediately.
