Criminal record certificate in Georgia — fee, apostille
Georgian criminal record certificates (police clearance) are issued by the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. You may need one for a job, a visa or abroad. We help obtain it, apostille it and — if it shows a conviction — have the record expunged or removed.

Good to know
- The certificate is valid for 15 calendar days — order it when you actually need it
- For use abroad, it usually needs an apostille and a translation
- If you are abroad, a representative can collect it with a power of attorney
- If it shows a conviction, we check whether it has expired and whether it can be removed early
For foreigners
The general residence permit rules (Government Resolution No. 520) don't require a criminal record certificate from your home country — the Agency checks the information itself. A permit can be refused if you are wanted or have a conviction in Georgia. If you lived in Georgia, you can get a Georgian certificate — for example, for a visa or a job in another country.
