Under Article 32² of the Organic Law on Georgian Citizenship, a former citizen who lost Georgian citizenship because they acquired another one can apply to the Public Service Development Agency until 1 January 2027. The conditions are knowledge of the state language to the set level and the absence of legal obstacles set by the law. Under this route you don't have to give up your foreign citizenship, and your minor children are granted citizenship too.
If you are still a Georgian citizen and are about to acquire another citizenship, you must get consent to keep Georgian citizenship before you acquire the other one. We check your status, prepare the application and documents, and appeal a refusal.
