Debts and enforcement in Georgia while you live abroad
Living abroad and found out you are on Georgia's debtors' register, or your property has been seized? We find out where the debt comes from and find a way out.

- Courts of all instances
A person is entered in the debtors' register as soon as enforcement proceedings start against them. The register is public, and while you are on it, if you register new property or a vehicle, the enforcement bureau is notified and any further sale of that property is blocked.
First we establish the basis of the enforcement — a court decision, a notary's writ or something else — and whether you were properly notified. Then we choose the route: an appeal, negotiating with the creditor, a payment plan, or paying off the debt and getting removed from the register.

Questions & answers
How do I find out whether I'm on the debtors' register?
The register is public — we can check it and tell you which case and what amount are involved.
What does being on the register mean?
For example, if you register new property or a vehicle, the enforcement bureau is notified and further sale of that property is blocked until you are removed from the register.
Can I negotiate a debt from abroad?
Yes. Under a power of attorney we negotiate with the bank or creditor and, if needed, handle the case in court.
